Who loves mornings that start with breakfast in beautiful lush gardens?
OK, pardon my manners, how are you doing? Yes, you reading this! What are you eating? Where are you going? Who are you with this present moment? Heck what are you wearing? I just figured I never ask about you but constantly telling you about myself… Sounds like am some self obsessed vanity hooked person …
My phone rings “ssup hippie, where are you am next to your work place, come say hi” that’s my partner in crime calling, I step outside n my bouy has this sweet grin on his face with open arms waiting for me to slide in. “LOOK AT YOU SASSY HIPPIE A**, woman, how are you? Let’s go get some breakfast”… (Yeah invest in such friends 😂😂)
I shriek in glee, on lookers checking us out like I just won a lottery. I didn’t even think twice, moreover it’s at my fav work local 😍😍.
There is really no interesting story I want to share other than show you how lush this garden is n share a life lesson I picked… Yeah guys, couldn’t be less boring…
As we munching (S/O to our server) very humble guy with a welcoming smile that just brightened my day. I pay attention so much to details when meeting someone for the first time… Blame my obsession to body language on the series LIE TO ME.
There is a group of adults doing adult things with books n pens n look like they are so engrossed in their adult meeting n we on the other hand look like some jobless rich kids who just got their trust fund to blow 😂😂.
I force my bouy to take pictures of me with this beautiful backgrounds n vibes… I even cross over the “do not step on grass” (it was not written) sections to capture the vibes. We’re laughing, am screaming at good shots, n literally being show stoppers at this quiet ambience.
The adult team are now staring at us I bet one was wondering whose kids we are 😂😂. As they pack to leave, one wants a picture so do the rest soon after… I notice however how uptight they are in just capturing a moment. They are so shy, timid n look like they are embarrassed that they are taking a picture.
Adults with fear written all over their faces like they are doing something wrong. It got me thinking a lot about Freedom vs Fear. Here I was so carefree capturing images like this was my grandpa’s garden and having a good time while at it on the other hand, here are these adults completely shy to just embrace the feeling of wanting pictures.
From this small breakfast, I learnt something small:
“Success comes at every choice of Freedom over Fear.”
So as we March on (see what I did there 😉) let’s embrace more freedom over fear.
Without fear, I’m now able to share this day with you, you might discover a new place to treat your loved ones to some garden breakfast, lunch or dinner. I can now re-live these memories every moment I look at these pics. N that lovers, is a great feeling.
Wishing you a fearless March!!!
Love. Light. Sunsets.
